RICO VISITS

---|---|
When I get out of the car (with Rico in his pouch), I see through the Home's front windows that my Mother has jumped up off the couch and run to the front door - HOW could she have recognized me, not knowing: 1) that I was coming; 2) what kind of car I was driving; and 3) that I'd be carrying a big blue bag full of dog on my chest? I soon realize that she hadn't recognized ME; she just saw someone with A DOG and had to quickly come outside to see it. The fact that it is her daughter & her daughter's dog is just a bonus!
Shortly after my arrival, my Aunt Johanna (Jopie) & Cousin Liz arrive from Calfornia, and the party begins. Rico enjoys being the only boy among all the girls . . .

. . . and reminding Dity where the treats are . . .

. . . although he soon tires of "girl talk" and decides to take his cell phone toy out to the rest of the residents of the home.
Note that he is still on lead; I'm not sure how he will behave so I keep a close eye on him . . . for a while, anyway.
As my Mother unwraps gifts Jopie & Liz have brought, Rico does his part of cleanup by shredding the wrappings.
