Welcome home Christine & Tim. A superb idea and even better execution.

Wow!
Congratulations! I donated waaay back when the idea was first pitched. Then Chris started training. Me? I would have quit, I just know it.
I admire Chris for her determination.

Congratulations, Chistine & Tim. Thank you to Andréa & Anna for letting us share the ride (but without the wind, rain, mud, sore muscles and cracked noggins).
It looks like Christine & Tim raised over $3,600 for Airedale Rescue with their ride. As a welcome-home present, can we tell Christine & Tim that their heroic efforts raised $4,000 for homeless Airedales?
In the 12 months that ended on 6/30/2006, National Airedale Rescue helped with the expenses of 96 Airedales; details are HERE
Some of the Airedales that were helped required very expensive surgeries. Vet expenses alone were over $30,000; details are HERE. I will make my donation to get us to the $4000 goal.

Congrats on a great finish through a ride that was more challenging than you bargained for!
Having cycled long & hard distances myself in the past (another life ago!), I know well how taxing riding day after day can be - not just the road conditions and the length of the ride, but the mental games you have to play to keep going.
Bless you for doing this for Airedale Rescue!! Thanks for sending through the daily updates, for the photos and for sharing the "ups & downs" of the adventure with all of us. I was bawling when I saw the "finish line" photos as I can only imagine what you and Tim are feeling right now!
You've been in my thoughts & prayers and will continue to be so as you head home and recover from the ride.
Moni with Trudi (ever grateful to foster parents Tim &Christine!)

Sidney, I will match your donation!

I just want to thank everyone who cheered for Christine & Tim, also. The AireZen that rode with her got her to the finish. This will be something that she will never forget. The arms of the Airedale community were wrapped around her.
I went to my doctor today and he said I came through the operation great. Tumor was benign and I should get full facial use back in a couple of months.
