NOW PLAYING: BUFFALO 'DALES, WON'T YOU COME OUT TONIGHT
(INSTRUMENTAL VERSION)

As I was walking down the street,
Down the street, down the street,
A pretty dog I chanced to meet,
Under the silv'ry moon.

Buffalo 'dales, won't you come out tonight,
Come out tonight, come out tonight,
Buffalo 'dales, won't you come out tonight,
And bark at the light of the moon.

(With Apologies to John Renfro Davis)

DAY ZERO: SATURDAY, JULY 8

Christine writes:

Good Morning,

It is a bright & sunny morning with temps in the high 60's. I'm putting last-minute touches on the lists for Jamie, the dog sitter. I'm also washing the kitchen floor but I can't really explain why.

Dave picks us up in a couple hours for the ride to Buffalo and the trip begins!

Thank you all for your support of this project. Our rescued Airedales will benefit by your generosity. Remember that Tim & I have paid all our own expenses - every cent pledged or donated goes directly to aid Airedales in need.

Please send a little Zen that the winds are favorable, the rain not steady, and that the Trio of Trouble behaves while we are away!

That evening, Amy Marino writes:

Earlier today, we met up at Nichols High School in Buffalo, New York for our Meet & Greet with Christine. Christine, sporting a very colorful and fashionable biking ensemble, was in good spirits and excited to start her ride tomorrow along the Erie Canal in NY.
