FRITZ GOES HOME

Fritz went home with his new mom, Carol Harris & his new sister, Maggie.
Not sure what to do, she looked at Cairns on the CRUSA site,
She came to visit us one day, with Maggie. Fritz was being his sassy self and really "picking" on Maggie, wanting to play. Carol & I chuckled about it and that was it. Joe & I had decided to keep Fritz with us until the perfect home came along, as he had grown to be part of our family. We had quite a few applications on him, but for one reason or another ,they all fell through. I knew in my heart that "meant to be" home would come around soon enough.
A few days later, I received an email from Carol saying she was really thinking about adopting Fritz . . . I could not believe it! Of course I asked her, "Are you nuts?"
"Nope; he just kind of captured my eye," she replied.
So off he went for a visit to see if Maggie could handle him . . . and he never came back! He & Maggie share a bed at nap time and sleep together at night with Carol. Maggie has a little more bounce in her step when they go for their two long walks a day since her brother joined the family! Fritz is going to doggie day care one day a week with Maggie, and he starts a year-long obedience training on Saturday.
Carol is doing such a fantastic job in keeping Fritz busy . . . I can see the maturity setting in slowly . . . he'll always be Fritz though!
They came for a visit and he is getting so big. He looks to Carol now for loving & directions. He keeps his eye on Maggie too.
I always say that God, Karma, Fate . . . whatever you choose to call it . . . always plays a part in the placing of our fosters. We have been so blessed with every single home they have gone to being more then we could have ever asked for. Looks like it happened again!
