ROSIE'S

Bill writes:
Rosie definitely had a more leisurely Labor Day weekend than we did! I had a four-day trip for work, and Tim was on-call all weekend, but Rosie & Tipsy were in the lap of luxury, being spoiled by their Uncle Tom downstairs, and two of our friends who came over to meet the dogs. They've transitioned into their new food (Blue Buffalo); both are finally eating all of their food at mealtimes
I know Rosie's in here SOMEwhere . . .
Rosie & Tipsy made their second appearance at the East Point PetSmart to thunderous acceptance (and no piddling on the tile floor); both got toys for their growing toy box full of stuff. Tim spoils em even more than Bill does! He purchased a "thing" for the back seat of the car that keeps the dogs from slipping onto the car floor and from crawling into the front seat, while securing them in the back seat and giving them a generous, confined space while riding in the car. (Someone out there is always thinking of the dogs!!!)
Rosie is letting herself be known here; I actually heard her bark for the first time, letting me know that the morning joggers were running right by her front door, and that Tom was going to work.
Last night we took quite a bit of time settling down, as Tipsy & Rosie sleep in the bed (despite their BOTH having their own little doggie beds in front of the fireplace). The moment they got in bed, playtime was ON . . . nipping & growling & rolling around on the bed . . . at 11 p.m. (Could someone send them a note telling them to save it till the morning?) FINALLY, at 1 a.m. they settled down to their "spots" and of course, as soon as everyone was asleep, the PHONE RANG and we were off again for another 20 minutes! Gotta love em!
I'm writing this at 7 a.m. and where are the dogs? FAST ASLEEP . . . Tipsy on her perch atop the couch; Rosie on her favorite side chair right behind me.
Rosie has found her favorite spot.
Life is good, ladies & gentlemen.
TRACIE COTTON:
So glad things are going so well and she is settling in so well.
