On a whim, I purchased a dog-sized witch's hat,
intending to put in on the Cairn Terrier statue on our front porch;
that was to be the extent of my Halloween decorating this year,
as we are in Florida and all our decorations are in Wisconsin
(and no, I'm not buying MORE, tempted tho I was).
It was grooming day for the Skrenninger Quartet
(RicoBadBoy, Daisy2Legs, RosieVi the Shy & Heather,
all CRUSA - Cairn Rescue USA - Rescues),
so I brought along the hat 'cause I realized that Rosie is the same size
as the Cairn statue and I wanted to see how it would look on her.

Despite her age (18.5 years young) and her recent diagnosis of cancer,
our EverReady Puppy is going strong and now she has won a contest.
Way to go, Rosie!
On Halloween, we brought her to the Vet Clinic for congrats and photos . . .
