Ruth

Ruth likes Foster Dad Ron to hold her; look at her neck

We are just so thankful that little Ruth is on the road to recovery; it will take a few months to see any big differences. She is feeling better and now mixes with the other dogs after having started antibiotics, healthy dog food, clean crate/bedding, protective cotton baby clothes, the company of other dogs and hugs & kisses from her human protectors. She follows Ron & me around and is getting her Cairnitude back.

Ruth

Ruth's thigh sitting on her tail (upside down).
Imagine your skin looking like this and
how it would feel and how people would treat you.

Thanks for reading about Ruth; we appreciate any size donation as we have five furkids ourselves and foster for both Cairn Rescue organizations and the local Seattle Purebred Dog Rescue (SPDR) - Westies & Scotties. Thanks so much to CRUSA for sponsoring Ruth so quickly and Andréa Denninger for creating this web site for Ruth.

How could anyone turn a blind eye to this?

Ruth

Ruth's infected, blackened ear.
Dr. Conger flushed lots of debris from her ears;
the ear canals are narrow due to the skin infections.
