SADEE GOES TO THE GROOMER

14 JULY 2016

Ph

Sadee began chewing
her feet again,
so I am returning her to
1/4 pill of Temeril-P per day
(I had been reducing
her dosage weekly)
and thought that perhaps
a good grooming, including
cutting down her mane
and her slippers,
would help alleviate
her urge to chew her feet.

I strongly suspect
that Sadee has never
been groomed.

It was like bringing your child
to its first day of school.

Sadee was fine 'til
Peggy started walking her
to the back, and I headed
for the door.

PANIC! I've NEVER seen
Sadee so animated.
She did NOT WANT
TO GO THE OPPOSITE
DIRECTION FROM ME.
I made a hasty exit!

Once I was out of sight,
Peggy told me,
Sadee was fine
and behaved very well.

The old hair was blended in
nicely with the new hair
growing in below the waist.
And Ive not seen
any foot-chewing.

I stopped in at the vet clinic
to show her off . . .
they thought she was beautiful.

Her next adventure:

Gr

NEAL SKRENES:
It's good to know that she settled down and enjoyed and behaved herself,
and that she didn't cry the entire time you were gone.

Gr

MARSHA AARONS:
Beautiful girl.

Gr

JACKIE IKE:
She looks wonderful.

Gr

BOB ANDERSON:
Pretty spiffy, and she survived being away from your side - a good thing!

Gr

DOREEN MUNDIE:
Oh, she looks so cute . . . with Cairns a grooming makes so much difference . . . they look like totally different pups!

Gr

PATRICIA YARNOT:
She's beautiful! Can't believe this is the same dog who came to you so ill,
hairless and encrusted with infection.

Gr

MAUREEN SCOTT
in Canada:
She looks terrific!

Gr

CATHY BIERSACK:
What a change!

Gr

PATRICIA YARNOT:
Are you sure this is the same girl? What a difference.
