Sadee had two extractions of 'partial' teeth;
seems her body is reabsorbing her teeth roots and,
to some extent, the teeth themselves.
Dr. Hathaway says not a lot is known about WHY this occurs. . .
read all about it HERE

Dr. Hathaway writes:

Radiograph of healthy, upper (maxillary) incisor teeth

Ph

Radiograph of healthy upper (maxillary) canine tooth with
broken tooth fragment seen just behind that.
Tooth likely fractured due to tooth resorption in that area.

Ph

Radiograph of upper (maxillary) teeth.
Second tooth behind big canine tooth shows area of crown resorption
(darkened area) which is most similar to a cavity lesion in humans.

Ph

Radiograph of healthy lower (mandibular) teeth.
A very mild amount of horizontal bone loss is seen on the first tooth
and the brighter color seen on the back two teeth is
an artifact from the overlap of those two teeth.

20 JULY

Sadee was so out of it she spent the night on the couch;
she's been sleeping on my bed since the first night she was here.
I think the Tramadol is knocking her out, but that's better than pain.
She was, I think, looking for Chloe's crate to hide in,
but Chloe went to her furever home, so no open-wire crate was available.

BOB ANDERSON:
Great job, great pages! Glad Sadee is doing pretty well - all things considered. I love to nap after the dentist!

JACKIE IKE:
Sadee is looking great and you know she will feel so much better with those bad teeth gone.
