SADEE GOES HOME!

13 SEPTEMBER 2016

As Anita lives four hours
north of me, we decided
to meet in Ocala,
about half way between us.

First, tho, I stopped in
at the Palm Harbor Vet Clinic
to show her off and to let her
say thank you for their care
of her during the past four months.
(did I remember to take pics
of Sadee with Dr. Hathaway?
Sure did - just about as I
pulled into Ocala. DANG!)

Sadee was the dog in the
worst physical condition I've fostered
in my ten years with CRUSA,
and it was greatly satisfying
to see her gradually improve,
physical and mentally.

Of course, I could not begin to do this without the help of:
Jackie Ike, who found Sadee listed on the internet, pulled her from the shelter
and brought this stinky, hairless, parasite-infected dog to me;
CRUSA, who accepted her into our Rescue Program;
Drs. Frazee & Hathaway and the Vet Clinic of Palm Harbor Staff,
who worked hard to bring her back to good health;
Peggy & April of Groomingdale's, who made her look so much better
as the hair began to come back; and, most importantly, those of you who
follow these stories, donate to CRUSA's Cairns and send us your support.

THANKS, FOSTER MOM . . . AND CRUSA! I'M OFF TO A NEW LIFE, THANKS TO YOU!

JACKIE IKE:
Happy tears for Sadee! They (Shelter) said they would have probably put her down because no one would want her. But CRUSA wanted her and Andréa brought her back to a beautiful loving girl and she now has her very own home and will be loved from now on! Thanks to all in CRUSA who worked miracles to save this one and all the others that get helped from finding the dogs, rescuing them, funding for them, loving them, bringing the lost soul back to a healthy state, home visits and finally adoption of a happy healthy pup! Thanks to all......and especially in Sadee's case for giving her her life back.

Oh my gosh . . . look at all that fur on the rear! Glad she is a great match . . . she is a great pup!

PATRICIA YARNOT:
As long as she's secure and loved, she'll be fine. You do such a great job of preparing your fosters for their new homes.

So happy to see pictures is Sadee on her way to her new home. What a difference in her appearance. It's nice to read a happy ending in the midst of all of the news mess.

JACKIE McGUINNESS-PARKER

I love that pic of Sadee saying bye; she looks like she has a bit of a lump in her throat, as we all have when we read her story, but a smile at the happy ending.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen. It keeps my faith in humanity.

Anim

SHELL LEWIS:
Congratulations . . . On Sadee's adoption! A bittersweet day, but a wonderful ending. Ya done good!

Anim

VIOLETTA ARGUETA:
Wow, what a big change with Sadee. Seeing her Adoption Day photos, you could never tell how terrible she looked when you first got her. Congrats! And Sadee couldn't get a better 4-ever home than with Anita.

MAUREEN SCOTT
An altogether amazing story! Well done, my friend!

Reading Sadee's story was difficult through the tears, but they gradually changed to happy ones of hope as I read of your patience, compassion and perseverance as she was gradually restored to health and now into a new furever home. Kudos to you, Jackie Ike and all who helped make this journey happen for sweet little Sadee!

Anim

LINDA SAVAGE:
