SADEE IN FLORIDA - 5/18/16

SADEE SAYS
GOODBYE TO FLORIDA
14 MARCH 2017

Sadee has been living in Northern Florida with Anita,
but they will soon be returning to Michigan,
so Anita brought Sadee over to say goodbye to her rescuers.
Any excuse for a party, and Patricia had never met Sadee,
so she and Bailey (f/k/a BUSTER BROWN IN FLORIDA came along, too.
Unfortunately, Jackie couldn't make this mini-meet.

Bailey got scalped on 12 March;
had to stick this pic in here;
he sure doesn't look
too happy about his new haircut,
especially as the weather turned
COLD the next day!
Because of this cold AND
the entire previous day of rain,
we couldn't let the dogs out.

As it is a four-hour drive for Anita & Sadee,
Patricia came early to give the Skrenninger Pack some extra attention . . .

Bailey zooms right over to the toybox as soon as he comes in our house,
but this time, I hid all the toys in the garage.

Well, he would NOT stop looking for them, so I gave him ONE to keep him occupied.

She will hold still like this til I take her picture . .

For some unfathomable reason, Patricia LOVES RicoBadBoy . . .

. . . altho she won't take him home, despite my encouragement to do so.
And Bailey just walks around with his duck . . .

. . . so proud of himself . . .

Daisy wants skritches . . .

. . . Bailey gets jealous . . .

. . . we should've been on the larger living room couch . . .

And HERE SHE IS . . .
the STAR of this party . . .
SADEE!
What lovely hair she now has!
(and she'd just been groomed).
Her eye sometimes gets re-infected;
we're sure her immune
system was compromised by
all the infections she had,
but a bit of medication cures that.
We are wondering if being in
Michigan will cure her skin issues,
as she is now on Apoquel.
Time will tell.

Going into the kitchen gets EVERYdog's attention . . .

At this point, it was time to put Rico in the garage . . .

. . . where the others thought
THEY wanted to go, too . . .

Daisy has another fan . . .
EVERYone loves this dog!

At this point, Patricia put down the camera,
I forgot about taking more pictures,
and we spent a few hours just talking and loving on our dogs.
A perfect way to spend a cold and rainy afternoon.
Then we said goodbye to Anita and Sadee,
wishing them luck on their journey and the next phase of their lives.
I hope Sadee likes snow! She may have come from the north,
so for her also, it may be a homecoming.
