I was able to get a
"we can squeeze you in"
appointment this evening.
Sadee has not only a bacterial
infection on her skin, but also
a fungal infection.
No fleas, thankfully;
her skin is flaking off
in large patches
and other places are bleeding
from the scratching and biting.
Both ears are infected
(no surprise there),
as well as her left eye.

She was given an antibiotic and an anti-histimine/
steroid combination pill, as well as eye ointment.
She has to be bathed with Universal shampoo,
two-three times a week.
We came home, the dogs ate, medications dispensed as directed,
and she went crazy with the scratching. I finally couldn't
take it anymore and gave her the bath, wrapped her in a towel
and sat with her on my lap to at least stop her scratching.
She fell asleep. I moved her to the chair and moved the chair
right next to me and she dozes.
Her left eye is so swollen it cannot close when she sleeps.
Rico, Daisy, Heather & SweeTea are being very aloof,
which is just fine, as Sadee needs time to recover, and begin to enjoy life again.
I'm hoping she will soon run in the yard with SweeTea,
who misses Bailey (f/k/a Buster Brown in Florida).
Time will tell. Now I have to figure out how to get Sadee
to sleep all night without scratching.
