23 MAY:
Sadee & SweeTea, lounging out in the Florida sunshine.

I do limit her exposure to five minutes at a time, though;
I know the Vitamin D is good for her, but sunburn is a distinct possibility.
Isn't that an ADORABLE face??

24 MAY:
WHO'S SLEEPING IN BOTH MY BEDS?!

GUESS I'LL JUST SLEEP OVER HERE, THEN . . .

Notice that her hair is coming back in!

26 MAY:
Patricia, Doting DogMom of Bailey (f/k/a BUSTER BROWN IN FLORIDA),
came over today to meet Sadee, who had an early morning bath.
Her comment, "Is that the SAME DOG?!" made me feel good.
Oh, and in Patricia's honor, I had put the wicker couch back on all four legs,
and Sadee hasn't gone back to using it as a scratching post.
Nor, BTW, has she had ONE accident in the house in the week she's been here.

27 MAY: TODAY SHE'S "SOCKSEE SADEE"
Now that the major itching is over, she has begun to chew on her front paws.
Apple cider vinegar spray was just additional flavoring,
so I put socks on her. She is NOT happy about this,
although the chewing has stopped. Her dew claws have NOT
been clipped and look swollen, so that is another issue we will
address at her recheck visit to the vet on 1 June.
Meanwhile, have a laugh . . . compliments of Socksee Sadee . . . .

And today we discover Sadee has brought along some of her own "pets":
tapeworms, hookworms & whipworms. MORE medicines for this poor girl!

Oh my! I can't stop laughing. She is embarrassed, I'm sure. But I'm sure it's helping her to not chew her feet. With love and medicine she'll recover and be the fabulous dog she was meant to be.
