SADEE BACK TO THE VET
1 JUNE 2016

Sadee went in for her two-week checkup
and to address some new issues.

Ph

Vet Tech Cary & Dr. Hathaway look over Sadee . . .

Ph

Sadee was tested for several things; she has dry eye in both eyes,
altho, obviously, the left eye is worse. I have new meds for that.

Ph

The left ear is clearing up a bit, and she will continue to get Panalog (or its replacement)
in both ears plus ear flush with OtiClens (I have so much
meds at home, I didn't have to buy this at least).

Continuing with the baths; as she has BOTH a bacterial AND
a fungal infection, especially between her toes, If these baths don't help,
we will have to try a stronger shampoo after her next recheck on 14 June.

She is also continuing the Temeril-P, as needed,
plus an antibiotic. Her dew claws were, finally, trimmed.
The skin around all her nails is inflamed with infection.

Sadee has Dry Eye in BOTH eyes; her right eye registered 5
(15 is optimum); her left eye didn't register at all.
So she has drops to encourage her tear glands to produce tears. We hope.

Dr. Hathaway thinks Sadee is around SEVEN years old.

I'd promised Sadee that if she was a good girl at the vet,
she could join me for lunch (outside) at FlapJack's.
She was a good girl for the entire two-hour vet visit,
so off to lunch we went . . .

I bet SWEETEA doesn't have to lie outside under the table on the cement!

MAUREEN SCOTT
in CANADA:
Poor pup! The owners clearly were very neglectful. I see from the photos at FJs that Sadee made a new [gentleman] friend while she was . . . lunching!

Anim

DOREEN MUNDIE:
How could anyone not see her misery! I am so glad she is safe now! I really feel for her... all those things bothering her at one time, she must have been so depressed and feeling so hopeless.

Anim

PAM SIMPSON:
Wow, her left eye is visibly a lot better! She has come a long way, but it sounds like a long way to go. Seven years of bad or no care????

Anim

RITA COUGHLIN:
Hope she will get better soon, and find her forever home. She has the cutest face!

Anim

ROBYN:
Wow, she looks better in such a short time! She has a beautiful face and gorgeous eyes.

Anim

JACKIE IKE:
She is looking so much better! Still a ways to go, but well on the way.

Anim

BOB ANDERSON:
Wow! She looks so good! You are working wonders!!! Is that "Mr. Flapjacks"?

Andréa replies:

Flapjacks Bob (as I call him) is one of two managers/maitre d's.

Anim

JACKIE McGUINNESS

She is going to be so cute when she get back to full health; she is way too cute now.
