HEEEEEEEERE'S SAMMIE!

Shell Lewis writes:
Sammie came on a transport with Rover Rescue,
a well-known all-breed rescue group
in the western suburbs of Chicago.
She was one of 19 dogs on the transport,
which is a small transport for them.
They typically bring up about 35 dogs on one transport.
(Actually, they STARTED with 19;
a pregnant pooch gave birth to four pups
during the transport.)

This dog is beyond cute.

She has a bad eye and, supposedly, dry eye.
And she may be blind.

I'm not 100% sure of what her many issues may be,
but she's going to the vet on Monday;
then we'll know more.

Oh . . . liver issues too.
Of course you know all this;
that is why we're doing the fundraiser.

Foster Dad Tom Bergin met us
at the Belvidere, Illinois Oasis
to get Sammie and start her
on her loving journey to a Forever Home.
