STILL AT THE VET
10 AUGUST 2010

Dr. Sara is one of Saylor's vets . . .
At 9 AM, Peggy writes:
Went back over to the vet clinic this morning to take Brenda's Scrappy to get his teeth cleaned. I visited with Saylor, who has not eaten anything since Saturday, 7 August. I brought him some Swanson's canned chicken and he ate it.
He is still running slight temp of 102.8. They took an xray early this morning and discovered that he has pneumonia. He has a terrible cough and is sneezing. They also found by accident that he has bladder stones. Poor little guy is a mess.
But on the up side, he is getting great care from a group of loving & caring vets & staff.
3 PM
I just got back a little while ago from the vet clinic to pick up Scrappy, BJ's Cairn,
Saylor trying to eat . . .
Every time he coughed he piddled.
Poor little guy is so sick . . . .
Today is only Tuesday and I have made three trips already to the vet.
I told them today to just set up a cot, I'll save on gas money!

MARSHA AARONS:
Awwww . . . I feel so bad for Saylor. Have they done blood cultures on him, Peggy?
He ate for you this a.m. Were you able to get him to eat for you tonight??
BJ ISAACS:
Our poor baby, he still sounds so awful. I know he's in great hands at Shively and, of course, with Peggy. I shore do hate to see this vet bill, but I guarantee he'Ss worth every penny!
