I picked him up this morning at around 8 a.m. at a truck stop
about two hours away from where I live.
The man who transported Scotty said that he was very sweet.
He also said that he did not potty or poop in his crate one time.
So that's a huge plus; he is obviously crate-trained,
which will make things easier for his new family.
We went straight to my vet this morning;
she did some blood work and everything looked good.
Started him on an allergy med, gave me a medicated shampoo,
and ointment for his dry eye. My vet said that
she'd seen worse conditions, too.
Everyone at my vet's office loved him.
They couldn't believe how good-natured he is
after everything he's been through. He is a very mellow guy.
He loves kids! Was very excited when my kids got in the van.
