SOME INFORMATION & COMMENTARY FROM
SHELL LEWIS, VICE PRESIDENT OF FOSTER HOMES FOR CRUSA:
A bit about the four dogs who will be coming. We were supposed to be getting in FIVE senior gals but inexplicably, the miller "lost" one of the dogs . . . he's not sure if she ran away or if she "just died". So we're getting in four "young" ladies and they are . . .
SPARKY - Red Wheaten, Born '97, 16 pounds
ROSIE - Wheaten, Born '97, 10 pounds
DUSTER - Brindle, Born '96, 19 pounds
DESIREE - Wheaten, Born '96, 11 pounds
CRUSA has a fundraising program, NAME THAT CAIRN!, giving donors a chance to pledge $25 or more to 'name a Cairn'. So . . . chances are some of these dogs will be assigned new names and when I know what those are, I'll let you know.
Dr. Tolliver is going to assign dogs to the foster homes, based on information I provided to her. I understand they're all adorable and we know they're all cute so we'll be surprised!
All dogs will be coming with crates, leashes, harnesses, collars and CRUSA ID tags. Please make certain that harnesses and ID tags stay on our dog AT ALL TIMES!
