On November 4, Scott & Greg will likely be arriving at Dr. Tolliver's around noon to pick up three of the dogs. (Nancy Ann [f/k/a Duster] will be going to first-time Foster Mom Heather Scharbach, in western Missouri on a separate transport.)
As part of CRUSA's NAME THAT CAIRN! fundraiser, ANN ANDERSON renamed Duster as NANCY ANN, ". . . the name of my very best friend who is a breast cancer survivor. She means a lot to me and last year at this time I really thought she wouldn't be here. But she is and doing great and she loves dogs, so I wanted to name one in her honor."

First stop on return trip will be with Kathy Brown,
As part of CRUSA's NAME THAT CAIRN! fundraiser, LISA STINE has renamed Desirée as LUCRETIA, in honor of her Mom who, Lisa writes, " enjoys life and likes to carve, sew and spend time with her family and dogs. She often helps with fundraiser ideas for CRUSA."

. . . and on Sunday morning, she will go to Danny's Café in Kenosha,
As always . . . I'm looking forward to working with everyone!
Transport Report from Shell:
The Senior Squad arrived in Illinois today with Scott & Greg, our transport mavens, leading the way. In Maryland Heights, Missouri, first-time CRUSA foster mom, Karen Brown, picked up her little lady, Desirée, who is being renamed Lucretia after one of our volunteer's moms. Kathy reports that Lucretia is making herself right at home at her home and has peed, pooped & claimed the backyard as her very own.
Scott holds Li'l Flo (f/k/a Sparky); Greg holds Viola (f/k/a Rosie)

At 6 p.m., I met Scott & Greg at the Hinsdale Oasis on the Illinois tollway and met adorable Viola & Li'l Flo. Li'l Flo was the pet name that my step-sons called my mom, Florence, when they were young and it stuck.
As part of CRUSA's NAME THAT CAIRN! fundraiser, SHELL LEWIS renamed Sparky as LI'L FLO, for the reason given above.

Li'l Flo will be going to Hannah Sampson in St. Charles, Illinois tomorrow but tonight . . . she's all mine! | |
