SHELDON IN FLORIDA
20 APRIL 2018
|
|
On 29 March, Jackie Ike
went to the Tampa Bay
Humane Society
to get Sheldon,
and came home instead
with ANGEL IN FLORIDA,
as Sheldon still had
to be vetted and posted.
|
Not until several weeks later
did he suddenly appear on
their website, ready to be
adopted. Thanks to Jackie's
vigilance, she was able to write:
I picked Sheldon up
at the Humane Society today.
He is in boarding till Sunday.
Bill Schumacher will fly him to BJ.
|
|
As frequently happens in the world of Rescue,
plans changed. Bill was busy flying BOB & KATIE IN KENTUCKY
hither and yon, so Sheldon had to stay in boarding until 2 or 3 May
(due to the cat bites & scratches I sustained,
leaving my right hand pretty much useless,
I could not take Sheldon as we had originally planned).
|
Margaret Caldwell to
the rescue of the Rescued!
On 24 April,
she took Sheldon
into her home;
his boarding costs
had already reached $175.
|
|
Margaret writes:
Little guy Sheldon
is at my house now.
So we know he is safe
and ready for the
next chapter in his life.
|
|
|
Oh yes -
he was a stray found
by Sheldon Road in Tampa,
hence the name.
