Even later in the day . . .

I did 16 dives this week, which brings my running total up to 713

THE LARGEST Channel clinging crab (Mithrax spinosissimus) I have ever seen!
This monster was at least TWO FEET ACROSS. A/K/A: King Crab, Reef Spider Crab, Coral Crab

The turtle, channel clinging crab & spotted burrfish were all 1, 2, 3 on the last dive of the week.
After spotting the burrfish, and someone else spotting the turtle,
I made a 360, as I often do, and from 20 feet away,
I could see a pincer lying across the reef. At first I was sure it was an optical illusion,
but as I closed in I realized it was a claw, and it was attached to a live crab.
