The stand-off - guess who won?

Pat Bernard writes:

We had a very restless, but entertaining, night with Cassie doing her impersonations of a howling wolf, Tweetie Bird and, my personal favorite, clucking chicken - that one made me LOL. She is a vocal girl who doesn't back down from strange noises. She started growling as soon as I got her home to any noise she didn't recognize. She loves to cuddle, run after the ball and Swiffer®. I had to trim her long nails this morning and she just kept chewing on her toy not giving a care. She's already had two washcloth baths, but this morning I had to soak her feet in the sink and she seemed to enjoy that too. She's a good eater and seems to know where to 'go' on her weewee pads.

Studiously ignoring each other

With a typical terrier attitude, this sturdy little girl
is going to make a perfect agility partner!!

Superstar with attitude!

21 May:

I now call her Cera . . . as in Triceratops, because she's such a little bulldozer and afraid of nothing! And she knows to sit and be calm before I pick her up. This little girl is a great combination of smarts, sweetness, toughness & courage!

Our second night was much quieter probably due to the Swiffer®ing practice that went well past 11 p.m. - although 5 a.m. came pretty fast. Nonethless, we watched the sun rise and all the girls enjoyed a nice romp in the wet grass. We also went for our morning walk down to the corner and back. Emma seems to only growl when Cassie/Cera gets in the way of HER people time.

Cassie did her morning wash-up (b*tt, paws, face) which was followed by pretty rigorous Swiffer® training - senior management sent a memo reminding all that riding the Swiffer® is not allowed per the International Swiffer®ing Federation Rule Book. Players are contesting the decision, however, and some rumblings have been heard about a possible boycott. In the meantime, afternoon practice has not been cancelled - yet. Other players have mentioned tennis.

[This should be ver-r-r-ry innerestin' - but fun!]

Pleasant dreams, little girl . . .
may you have a great life
now that CRUSA has saved you.
