WHY A STARFISH?
Eleven-year-old Courtenay, a/k/a Littlest Lunatic,was rescued in 2004 by NWATR (NORTHWEST AIREDALE TERRIER RESCUE. She was sent to AIRECANADA for rehoming, and found her home with us. BELOW IS A SAMPLE OF LITTLEST LUNATIC'S MISADVENTURES: STICKY PAWS (from Page 3)
The incident of the sticky paws occurred while we were on our recent holiday. The Alpha Male is passionately fond of maple syrup. We buy it in liter-sized bottles from a big box store. The bottles are made of bulletproof plastic and look like little brown jug whisky bottles. They have a small handle on the neck and a screw-top opening about an inch in diameter beside the handle. One morning, we had pancakes with maple syrup for breakfast. After we had finished, I began to clear the table, but AM called me outside to help him for a moment. I went out, leaving the table to its own devices. I came back a few minutes later and checked the table. Nope. All clear. Began to wash dishes.	Waaaait a moment! Where's the maple syrup????????????? Oh no!!!!7 Quick search. Ask Angie for help. She shrugs. Pifflesqueak, ever the tattletale, points righteously. The maple syrup jug is found in our bed! The handle has been devoured and the screw-top has been chewed off. The Littlest Lunatic is lying on the bed happily licking maple syrup off her paws and furnishings. The jug is, by some stroke of magic, still upright. The Littlest Lunatic has no idea of how narrow an escape she has just had.
To keep printing and postage costs minimal, The Starfish Stories 2 has been published as an 8.5" x 11" booklet with light board covers and a plastic coil binding. There are a number original drawings included. The entire booklet is 68 pages, and includes 118 anecdotes featuring LL and her pals, Angie Adorable, Pifflesqueak the Toy Poodle, Pixie Almost Perfect & Murpheee. Each book is signed by the author & the illustrator. I hope that you enjoy reading the stories about her adventures.
