Her former foster mom, Brenda Hunter, recently lost her husband to illness and can no longer care for Sunni properly, so she looked to CRUSA for help, and I'm sure glad we could facilitate this transfer of care.
Sunni is a sweet, gentle loving girl who is going to bring sunshine to Wisconsin all year 'round. She spent the night with us here in Atlanta; I'll be sending pics soon.
Sunni was given the privilege of sitting in my lap for the trip to Atlanta (many thanks to the flight crew at AirTran; they were GREAT) and won the hearts of everyone in the gate area, as well as on the plane. There is magic in these creatures, I'm convinced.
I'm leaving in about an hour for the airport to take Sunni to Milwaukee.
Sunni is approximately four years old;
she was pulled from a shelter as a Westie,
and will be fostered by Katie Kneesel.
BRENDA ISAACS:
THANKS BILL!!
MARSHA AARONS:
Thank you so much Bill for doing this. The crew sounded great.
Sunni & you make great ambassadors for Cairn Rescue.
PAT BEDNARIK:
Bill, you are the best! Thank you for everything you are doing for Sunni, and bless you for flying in this tough weather.
Also, a big Thank You to the foster home in Wisconsin. These little souls in need can't be rescued without people who are willing to take them in until a Forever Home comes along. Foster Homes don't have to foster every dog that comes along, just the ones they can.
Good luck, Bill & Sunni! We look forward to hearing about the trip.
BOB ANDERSON:
Sunni3Legs looks like she's going to do just fine in Wisconsin!
