Sunni's trip from Gulfport to Milwaukee had an overnight in Atlanta.
I must tell you that the experience of transporting this fragile, yet resilient & loving girl was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had in some time. Kudos and many thanks to the people of AirTran Airways who were most helpful and extremely kind in their treatment of both Sunni & myself. Sunni was treated as a "companion" animal (as she most certainly IS), and therefore was not confined to her crate during the flight. She stayed either on my lap or cuddled up on her own seat with a big fluffy blanket to sleep on! It doesn't get any better than that.

The reaction from both airline employees and passengers was very positive, and Sunni could not have been a better ambassador for our cause. I passed out every single one of the business cards I had, so don't be surprised if Sunni generates a few calls in the next few weeks.
I could get used to this life!
Again, I am honored to be able to help in this manner. I'm so pleased that I can use my employee benefits, and that our "partner" airlines have shown themselves to be accommodating & gracious in their treatment of us and our mission.

Maybe I'll just stay in here; it's COLD up here in Wisconsin!

As soon as I saw Bill come walking out with her and
her sitting there so quietly with her head out, my heart melted!
