TEDDIE FROM TAMPA VISITS BUDDY IN FLORIDA AND THE REST OF THE SKRENNINGER PACK 31 OCTOBER-6 NOVEMBER 2016

On 31 October, Teddie came for a week's stay . . . RicoBadBoy, the one I'm always converned about when bringing in a new dog, especially another male. My concerns have been unfounded. Heather, Teddie, SweeTea. Teddie has just discovered SweeTea's favorite toys . . . . . . and SweeTea has discovered that she cannot intimidate Teddie into giving them back . . . OUTTA MY WAY! I GOTTA GO OUTSIDE! So many choices . . . . . . how do I find just the right pebble to pee on . . . ? Old Man BUDDY wanders over to see what the excitement's all about . . . This is Buddy's favorite hiding spot; I guess Teddie wanted to see why . . . For quite some time, Teddie lay on the floor, staring at the front door, waiting for Mom to come back . . . . . . and RicoBadBoy kept him company in his vigil . . . I washed all the dog beds and covers, but Teddie sez: DOG BED? I DON'T NEED NO STEENKIN' DOG BED . . . I have THREE couches and THREE chairs to choose from! Aren't I just the cutest thing? To know me is to love me. That is so true, Teddie; you are a perfect houseguest. He no longer runs to the door when he hears car doors slam next door, which he did several times yesterday. I've told him each time that Mom is coming back in a few days, so he must finally believe me. He has integrated well into the Skrenninger Pack, and even given SweeTea some playing time. WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND When I was growing up in Amsterdam, the dog in the apartment above us continually came to our apartment, most likely due to abuse from his owner. My dad eventually asked to buy/keep this dog, who would NOT go back upstairs, and he became . . . . . . wait for it . . . TEDDIE. We came to the US when I was six years old; supposedly, Teddie was given away; altho I have had my doubts over the years, there is no one in my family left to ask. So TEDDIE From Tampa has a special place in my heart, no matter who eventually adopts him.
