On 20 July, Maria writes: Three weeks to the day since bringing Bethany into our pack, we have "zoomies". I wish I could have gotten a video, but she's just a little too fast for me. We're still struggling with her lack of socialization, but we're hoping that will improve. My 15-year-old granddaughter was visiting this weekend, and Bethany would sneak around the corner to see her, but wouldn't come closer. Bethany got a bit anxious and barked for an hour and a half when she figured out that my granddaughter was still there at bedtime. I think she's going to have to be in a home with no kids of any age, and having other animals around is going to be a must. She definitely loves being part of a pack. ON 23 July, Nora Lewis sez: Just write the check out to Nora Lewis.
	And Shell writes: It's official! After a successful three-week "foster-to-adopt" stint, Jay S. of Naperville, Illinois signs final adoption papers for Emmett. (Nora supervises to make certain the i's are dotted and the t's crossed.)
