We introduce Bob & Raizel to the Resident Cairn, Henry
Bob had to have a bath . . .
. . . and he wasn't afraid at all!
On 5 July, Sarah writes:
The vet was very positive about Raizel & Bob; she thinks they're both going to be just fine! She thinks Bob's peeing problems will resolve once his meds are adjusted and he is on the right dosage. She thinks his accidents are a direct result of not being medicated properly. She gave him a shot of Percorten today and wants to wait three months and check his levels then to see how he's doing.
She put Raizel on an additional antibiotic (she now gets seven pills a day! we've got a chart going!) and is also running blood work to get her prepared for the tumor & teeth surgeries. She won't do the surgery without the blood work because of Raizel's age & overall health. She went ahead and scheduled the surgeries for Wednesday, July 18, but it's tentative pending the results of the blood work.
She should have some answers about the skin issues once those results come in, but she thinks it's all related to fleas and/or allergies and she showed me where Raizel is healing. She really thinks Raizel will be fine!
They're both doing great! They are settling in and seem to have adjusted really well.
