HEATHER EXPERIENCES . . . TOYS! 19 NOVEMBER 2013

Heather reacts to whistles, and when one of the Skrenninger Quartet's toys squeaked, her interest was piqued. So I thought to give her some new toys to see what she'd do . . . How 'bout a green stretchy thing, Heather? Last year's Howliday gifts from the Quartet's groomer, Jean of HOUSE OF FAISON, were still wrapped; I have to confess that when Cari crossed The Rainbow Bridge on 24 December 2013, I put them away, unopened. Cari LOVED squeaky toys; she tried to steal one out of the bag when I brought them home, and I told her she had to wait 'til Christmas Day for hers. Of course, she didn't make it, and ever since, I've felt guilty about denying her a last pleasure. Maybe a dinosaur that quacks? A lifesaver? Now, isn't THAT symbolic! You'd never get this in your mouth. All these new toys . . . . . . and the best thing to play with is the wrapping paper! (Notice Cari "watching" from the photos against the wall.) Seems to me she's saying, HEY, THOSE WERE MY TOYS & PAPER!) Wait! Does somedog on the floor have better toys?? The BEST toy is always the one the OTHER dog has . . . . . . that's what Daisy2Legs thinks. I took many photos, planning to weed them out, but as you can see, I didn't . . . she is just so pretty!
