HEATHER'S HOWLIDAYS

25-31 DECEMBER 2013

25 December: A new purple toy from Grandma . . .

Ph

. . . but "Baby" & tissue paper are NOT neglected!

Ph

26 December: This is Heather's "home" for a few days . . .

Ph

Ph

. . . although with supervision, she is allowed on the couch . . .

(No, Rosie, with OUR supervision, not yours.)

31 December: Heather is allowed to walk around the living room,
but we have to barricade the couches so she doesn't try to jump on them . . .

Ph

CairnDaddy had just brought in and disassembled the outdoor deer decorations . . .

Ph

. . . so they sufficed for a day or two, 'til I remembered the baby gates . . .

Ph

Ph

. . . although she'd still rather hide in her little corner . . . .

Ph

(Those baking sheets are filled with nijer seed for the finches;
I cleaned the feeders and am drying out the seed. In case you wondered.)

We've had an inordinate amount of ice & snow this winter,
so Heather has to be put into an xpen outside, also . . .

Ph

. . . with a towel over the snow to stabilize her.
She now uses a towel inside for her potty, too, but I'm sure
she will be easy to retrain once she can run outside, in a few months.

She is a real sweetie, quick to learn and a very pretty girl.
