ROMEO (f/k/a TOTO2) GOES HOME! 23 MAY 2013
	Shell Lewis writes: Since going into foster care with Erica & Tom Bergin, Toto2 has been called "Romeo". Today, he went into a "foster- to-adopt" home with Marcy & Jeff Kaplan of Illinois. We're doing a "foster-to-adopt" as Marcy & Jeff have two other CRUSA Cairns (Buddy & Mitch); we want to be sure the kids all get along.

Romeo has put on some much-needed weight since coming into CRUSA and is a great little guy. Marcy & Jeff have a wonderful home, a fenced yard and are "mostly-at-home" dog parents, so they have much to offer a new Cairn. The Kaplans & The Bergins with Romeo One of the reasons Marcy & Jeff wanted to add to their family is that Buddy is a senior who does not really like to play, while Mitch is young and very playful; we suspect that he & Romeo will be fast friends! MY BAGGAGE Now that I'm home, bathed, settled and fed, All nicely tucked in my warm new bed. I'd like to open my baggage Lest I forget, There is so much to carry - So much to regret. Hmm . . . Yes there it is, right on the top - Let's unpack Loneliness, Heartache and Loss, And there by my leash hide Fear and Shame. As I look on these things I tried so hard to leave - I still have to unpack my baggage called Pain. I loved them, the others, the ones who left me, But I wasn't good enough - for they didn't want me. Will you add to my baggage? Will you help me unpack? Or will you just look at my things And take me right back? Do you have the time to help me unpack? To put away my baggage, To never re-pack?
