ALICE GOES HOME 19 JULY 2007

Shell writes: Well, Alice doesn't live here anymore and we miss her. But she's adjusting wonderfully with Shelley & Bruce Rankin of West Chester, Ohio. Jim & I met them in Indianapolis, Indiana on Thursday (where we were attending a conference). It was bittersweet letting her go but we checked in with Shelley & Bruce on Sunday and things were going great. Alice took an instant liking to the family's c*t & bunny rabbit (who is trained to walk on a harness), and she's busy exploring the house and even going up steps. In our house, she followed me everywhere and was always underfoot, but it sounds as if she's more relaxed with her Forever Family. They adore her and it seems that the feeling is mutual.
