CATCHIN' UP WITH ROYCE REDUX 15 FEBRUARY 2010

Janet & John write write to Shannon & Joe: Just think! We couldn't let the day pass without thinking of you. A year ago today John & I were packing Micky into the truck and driving up to the Wisconsin border to pick up Royce. This has been quite a year, filled with lots of laughter. We were sitting on the couch the other day when, out of the blue, Royce jumped up and sat between us. I turned to John and said, "He finally feels at home." He is now climbing up on snow piles to pee like Micky. When he has to go he barks at us 'til we get up and take him out, and I swear he can say "out". He still keeps his blanket in the bed of one of his many caves. Thank you & Joe again for being good foster parents to him. I know that he is a good dog because of you two. As we've read, at least TWO members of the TRY TO REMEMBER Rescue Mission were flown out of the Midwest area to their Foster Homes. OUR FLYING ANGELS INCLUDED . . .
