GUISEPPE IS FLYIN' HOME 16 NOVEMBER 2008

Giuseppe (now "Giuseppe Verdi Caporaso") has had quite a journey. He came in from the Thorp dog auction in September . . . traveled down to Illinois where he's been in foster care with Laura Peters . . . and today he flew off to Pennsylvania, where he'll be a much-loved member of the Caporaso family.
Catherine & Bill lost their beloved Cairn, Charlie, just a few months ago. They are so excited to be welcoming this new pup into their family. Catherine was initially attracted to Giuseppe's scruffy good looks, but was also drawn to him because of his Italian name. Today was a day of "goodbye's" and "hi's" for "Mr. G" (as I've been calling him because I can't spell Giuseppe"). He said goodbye to Niles, another CRUSA pup who is being fostered by Laura. Then it was on to O'Hare Aireport, where he made the acquaintance of Cypress, a Great Dane puppy who is three weeks younger than Giuseppe, but MUCH larger. Cypress was on his way to Calgary Canada where he, too, was going to a new forever home.
