"Congratulations, Lovebirds!"
As befits the Tropical theme, the wrapping paper was very colorful . . .
. . . and inside is a tshirt for Yoga Class with Namasté on it; Namasté is a Sanskrit word used as a greeting or at the ending of Class. Donella included a definition in her card: "Namasté, the traditional Sanskrit word, can be translated to mean: 'I honor the place in you in which the entire universe dwells. I honor the place in you which is of love, of truth, of light and of peace. When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, we are one.'"
Then it was VetteMan's turn to unwrap the bright paper . . .
. . . and he has a Namasté tshirt, too!
On Tuesday, VetteMan & I have Yoga Class together, so we decided to wear our new shirts . . . they were the same size, so we each grabbed a bag and put ours on. There was something black on my sleeve; thinking it was a brand name, I looked at it a little harder, turning it so I could see what it said. GROOM. "Hey, Neal!" I yelled. "What does your sleeve say?" A moment of silence . . . then, "BRIDE!" So we exchanged shirts - what a great idea, Donella. Thank you so much, and we'll be thinking of you and your Piņa Coladas while we're enjoying our Margaritas!
Many thanks to VetteMan for taking these photos & BobMyBoss for scanning the card.
