The birds & squirrels were out in full force, looking for food.
There was some to be had, but not as much as if I'd
been able to get to the feeders and spread some food on the
ground, as I do every morning.

Somewhere under this mountain is a heated birdbath,
which is of no use now.


The upper deck, under which lives a flock of sparrows
that Daisy likes to chase; they're well-protected . . .

. . . of course, rabbits & who-knows-what-else live under there, too,
much to the Six-Pack's delight.
