THE NEXT DAY . . .

3 FEBRUARY 2011

. . . dawned sunny & bright.
All the driveways but one were still plowed in.
This person is a newspaper delivery 'boy',
and had to work this morning.

Ph

One neighbor just plowed his van through the plowed-up snow;
it took him several tries . . .

Ph

Somehow, the local Kenosha News made it right to
the front door this morning (extra tip for THAT delivery person!) . . .

Ph

. . . but the Milwaukee Journal lay forlornly on one of the drifts,
awaiting rescue. At least no one can walk by and steal it.

Snow is sliding off the roof over the living room . . .

Ph

. . . the bedroom . . .

Ph

Ph

. . . and the office (right over the furnace pipes, of course;
I see another trip thru the drifts in my future).

And here's a sight I never thought I'd see . . .

Ph

. . . RosieVi the Shy & Chrissi-One-Eye, shairing a bed.
Not happily, on Rosie's part,
but at least she didn't run away from Chrissi,
as she usually does
