PARROTS & WALLABIES & WOMBATS, OH MY!

On 2 March (in US), Sue writes:

In the midst of last week's heat and stress, one of our regular visitors arrived, clearly seeking some R&R.

Normally we have a dozen or more of these gorgeous King Parrots visiting every day, but most of them have, I fear, been killed in the fires.

This beautiful boy needed some quiet time with his own bowl of seed & dish of water. He stayed for an entire afternoon and had gone by late evening. He's reappeared a few times since, so I think he's recovered. Sadly he is still alone.

Wombat

As long as I don't make eye contact with him,
he generally lets me come within about three feet.

That's better . . . all for me . . .

Wombat

I'm feeling better already!
