RESCUING A JOEY PART 2 24 MARCH (IN USA)

BABY JOHN THE JOEY John the Joey with the burned paws visited WB with Denise again last night. He's the most adorable baby animal you could wish to meet. He's getting quite cheeky now, and he travels in style with Denise on her Rescue rounds, as he needs feeds every few hours. Here he is in his front seat traveling crib. LEMME SEE Lemme see what's over there! With Denise & Bill LOOK AT MY PAWS John's hind paws are now bandage-free; the new pink skin will slowly change to black. Note the long smooth furless section of the under 'leg' - this is normal. HEALING Still a way to go, but John's paws will be fine. The little toenail may grow back in due course. You can see that none of it worries the patient! CLOSEUP OF BURNED PAW Close up of burned hind paw with new pink skin. SEE MY LITTLE FRONT PAWS John's tiny front paws were also burned; the new pink skin is visible on his little pads. Awwwwww . . .
