	SADEE CROSSES THE RAINBOW BRIDGE 19 JUNE 2020
On 19 June, Irene writes: Sadee is not doing well. She is withdrawn and won't eat. I am working tonight and get off at 8 a.m. and am taking her to the vet. I am so lucky my sister is with her when I am at work. Sadee really loves my sister, I was blessed to have Sadee for 26 months after the brainstem abscess. She is such a sweet dog. I am hoping something reversible will be found. She has slowed down in the last month. I will keep you notified about our sweet Sadee. Later that day, Irene writes: I'm at the vet now and if there is nothing treatable and I can make her comfortable at home, I will take her home to die. And that evening, Irene writes: Sadee was uremic. The upper limit of creatinine is 1.8 and hers was 13.5. I would have taken her home to pass here, but the vet told me uremia is different in dogs than humans. She felt Sadee was suffering and she was such a good dog, I could not do that to her. She is joining the rest of the crew at the Rainbow Bridge: Tasha, Misha, Nikita, Roxxi, Karma, Benny, Albert, Tessa & Jack. The boys, Leroy && Jamie, are looking for her. Zizi never really did too much with her. DR. LEAH HATHAWAY: Oh I am sorry to hear that. I am glad she had you in her life and had some good years at the end. At least she is at peace. PATRICIA YARNOT: I'm so sorry to hear that Sadee has passed. She was a lovely sweet girl and I know you cared for and loved her dearly. My deepest sympathies.
RAINBOW BRIDGE Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they each miss someone very special, someone who was left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. Her bright eyes are intent; her eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly, she breaks from the group, flying over the green grass, faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into those trusting eyes, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart.
